Work History

Vitacost 10/08 to 08/2012
Analytics Director
In my role, I led a team of web analysts and SAS programmers who provided analytics across the organization. One focus was profiling, data mining, and segmenting the customer base to understand customers, and create actionable/targetable segments (base SAS and SAS STAT). Another focus was creating and then maintaining a testing culture in which we maintained/prioritized a testing roadmap and continuously ran A/B, and multivariate tests to let customer behavior determine website improvements.
AARP 01/10 to 10/2011
Sr. Analytics Advisor
My role at AARP was to increase member engagement in co-branded products/services offered by partners such as United Health Group, New York Life, Chase, Hartford, Aetna, Charles Schwab, and Walgreens. These partners account for roughly ten million member engagements and $1 billion in revenue to AARP annually (roughly $20 billion in annual revenue to co-branded partners).
HSN 07/01 to 01/2008
Sr. Manager Consumer Insights
My role at HSN expanded greatly over time. When hired in 2003, I leveraged TV customers for catalog mailings through profiling and segmentation. Promoted to Managing Analyst in 2005. Promoted to Sr. Manager of Consumer Insights in 2006.
Victoria's Secret Direct 06/07 to 07/2003
Senior Forecasting Analyst
In my role, I analyzed past performance of mailing segments, models, list rentals, offers, and test results to plan catalog circulation and catalog recipients. Catalog plans included sales forecasts that were utilized in staffing and buying decisions. Annually, I planned 20 catalogs (each catalog had multiple customer offers, up to 160 pages, circulation of 15 million, and sales of $30 million).
